The Holiday

I need your help. I'm trying to figure out where we should have Christmas. There are good deals on flights right now, but I can't decide which one to book. I was thinking Bruges, but London sounds fun and so does Venice, along with everywhere else. Where would you spend Christmas in Europe and why?

I would DIE to spend Christmas in London. Of course, I just love London.
But I really want to see Peter Pan there on Christmas Eve... it's some sort of tradition.
And if there's something I love as much as London, it's Peter Pan.

Just do it anywhere but in the US. Maybe the Netherlands. Don't they fill your wooden shoes up with candy in Amsterdam? You just leave them outside your door and in the morning they'll have presents in them. There's a guy named Sinterclaas and he rides a white horse with his friend Zwarte Piet. Sinterclaas does the candy, but if your are bad, Zwarte Piet will beat you with a stick. Kids are dumb and will believe anything won't they? This is on December 5th though.

oh, so you can go to london on a whim!

i was in london for x-mas/new year's when i was 14. i went to see the fireworks at big ben. it was fun, but the other places you're thinking about sound exciting too.

i would spend christmas somewhere warm as i grew up growing to the beach during christmas break. so maybe somewhere south? but if you want the cold and snow, go to London,Paris or Berlin.

I went to Edinburgh, Scottland the year befor last and it was wonderful and so christmas-y :) PLUS you can take a short train from there to london, or Vice-Versa (but I'm not a huge fan of london)
